Making any improvements on the first generation of the Porsche Boxster was a very daunting task to do on the side of engineers and designers at Porsche, as the car turned out to be a great commercial success. Yet the decision was taken to introduce the used Porsche Boxster of generation two to the market. Based on the successful concept of the generation one, the next used Porsche Boxster retained much of the styling and major improvements are to be found just within the vehicle. The entry level got a 2.7 litre engine that produced 245 BHP. The range topper received a 3.2 litre power plant generating as impressive horsepower of 295. The cabin of the used Porsche Boxster is very comfortable and the boot mechanism works perfectly opening or closing within just twelve seconds. Passengers get very supportive seats and high standard audio equipment. While on the road, the Porsche Boxster shows its capabilities. The sprint from zero to sixty mph takes only 5.5 seconds. The handling is just superb and the Porsche Boxster steers like a real racing car. Because of the car racing capacities, the safety levels are set at high levels. Two front, side and curtain air bags for each passenger, the ABS with the automatic brake differential and rear roll-over bars are in action. The fuel consumption is not at the lowest but is quite reasonable. All in all, the used Porsche Boxster can be recommended to anyone valuing a fast ride, luxury on board and an attractive looking machine.
